On October 23, CTIC hosted a visit from students in the Laboratory Analysis program at the Polytechnic University of Santarém, as part of their “Accreditation and Certification” course.
During the visit, the students had the opportunity to gain firsthand insight into the operations of the CTIC’s laboratories, experiencing the reality of laboratory work and the various processes carried out daily at the institution.
The session also allowed them to deepen their understanding of the procedures, requirements, and formalities associated with accreditation processes, providing a practical perspective on the concepts covered in an academic context. This exposure to the professional environment helped strengthen the link between theoretical training and practical application, fostering a better understanding of the demands and challenges inherent in laboratory work.
The initiative provided an enriching learning opportunity for the students, allowing them to understand the importance of accreditation and certification processes in ensuring the quality and reliability of laboratory results.
