CTIC took part in the 2026 National Agriculture Fair in Santarém through an institutional stand, which was present throughout the event, and a public presentation held on 8 June.
The presentation, delivered by Joaquim Gaião, Head of CTIC's Innovation and Development Department, showcased the potential for valorising wine industry residues through their application in the leather tanning process. The session highlighted the work carried out by CTIC in this field, along with examples of leather produced using these by-products.
