CTIC was represented at Terra Fest: Regenerative Agriculture by three staff members who participated in a series of activities focused on environmental sustainability, ecosystem regeneration, and knowledge sharing across different sectors.
The CTIC delegation consisted of Diana Cardoso, training manager; Joaquim Gaião, head of the R&D Department and head of the LAR Lab; and Cristiano Leal, a researcher in the Innovation & Technological Development Department. Throughout the event, CTIC employees participated in various workshops and working sessions dedicated to topics related to the environment, sustainability, and regenerative practices, while also exploring their application and relevance to the leather value chain.
Attending Terra Fest also provided an opportunity to keep abreast of new trends and sustainable approaches, fostering reflection on the environmental challenges currently facing the industry. At the same time, the event provided an important opportunity to network with professionals, companies, and organizations linked to the agricultural sector, sustainability, innovation, and the circular economy.
This participation reinforces CTIC’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices, training its professionals, and continuously seeking knowledge that contributes to a more responsible, innovative leather industry aligned with the challenges of the future.
