On July 17 and 18, the CTIC (Leather Industry Technology Center) hosted the “Technology Conference: Innovation and Sustainability” at the Torres Novas Municipal Library, an initiative that brought together companies, experts, and partner organizations to discuss strategic issues related to sustainability, digitalization, and business innovation.
Over the course of the two days, participants had the opportunity to engage in discussions and reflections on the industry’s evolution, the challenges associated with ESG criteria and the Digital Product Passport, as well as to learn about innovative projects and solutions that are shaping the future of organizations.
The program also included a session dedicated to presenting CTIC’s Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D+i) activities, highlighting the Center’s work in supporting companies and promoting the transfer of knowledge and technology.
Through this initiative, CTIC reinforced its role as a driving force for innovation, sustainability, and business competitiveness, fostering collaboration among companies, knowledge centers, and other stakeholders in the innovation ecosystem.
